During the winter months, the water in your pool is vulnerable to cold weather when the heater is not on or quits working. Therefore, you want to make sure that you add a winter treatment to the water as soon as the temperatures start to get cooler. This will prevent the water from freezing and causing damage to your pool and equipment.
Inspect Plumbing and Pool Equipment for Leaks
It is also important to inspect the plumbing of your pool and its equipment before the winter weather. You will want to repair any leaks or other problems that could get worse when the temperatures dip below freezing during the winter months.
